The Implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Agribusiness Firms in Bukidnon
AbstractThis paper determined the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the agri-business firms in Bukidnon. Specifically, it sought to identify the CSR projects that are being implemented by the firms, the manner they are implemented, the benefits of these CSRs, and the policies that can be generated based on the analyses of the findings. The results showed that the agri-business firms have been implementing several projects related to environmental protection, education, and training, community development and enhancement of local employment. Some of the firms are documenting the implementation of their CSRs while others disclose that they still have to measure the social impacts of their projects. Hence, one of the recommendations of the study is for the companies to employ an evaluation and monitoring mechanism to keep track of the progress and impact of their CSR programs.
